He swings the blade once more, this time piercing Naoya’s defenses and slicing him in half.
Maki is astounded by the harm caused by Daidou and wonders what he meant when he said that he could see everything else. She considers what she can’t see and is reminded of Toji Zenin, who shared her Heavenly Restriction.

5. Chapter 195 Recap
Chapter 195 opens with one of the new Culling Game players wandering around Kagoshima’s Sakurajima Colony, criticizing the scarcity of katana swords. Daidou Hagane, one of them, asks aloud if the katana is not the soul of the Japanese people.
He runs through the streets in search of a katana while being pursued by a cursed spirit, only to be let down when he discovers that it is a toy with a Demon Slayer theme.
Rokujushi then asks two young boys, a young man and two girls, to compete against him in a sumo match only to get rejected. He then collapses to the ground, wails, and begs people to fight him. He discovers a sumo-wrestling match in Tokyo, and he decides to travel to Tokyo.
Unfortunately, he interprets “Tokyo” literally as “the capital of the East,” assumes he must turn right, and unintentionally ends up traveling in the opposite direction.
The narrative then returns to the battlefield, where Naoya and Noritoshi are interrupted in the middle of their battle by Daidou. As soon as Naoya starts to attack him, Maki, who just arrived, slashes off the vines that are attacking him, saving Noritoshi from being fatally impaled.
Maki merely states that she is impatient as Noritoshi exclaims that it has only been three minutes. He decides to make every effort to get her out of the colony as soon as he realizes that she hasn’t fully recovered.
When Daidou, who is overjoyed to finally see a real sword, interrupts them once more, he tries to suggest the same to her.
The aura Maki and the others sense is Daidou’s pure lethality and bloodlust, and it is also revealed that he is an anomaly player who is unable to use cursed energy.
Naoya immediately avoids Daidou’s sword swing, but the force causes his armor to crack. Daidou examines the sword, remarking that it is still a good sword despite lacking a cross-guard and a maker’s inscription.
He also feels that the sword is cursed and inquires of it whether it chooses its wielder and whether it is attempting to embarrass him.
Maki sees Naoya attacking him and yells to warn him, allowing Daidou to avoid the attack, which destroys a nearby structure. Daidou comes out and says that seeing the cursed spirit is equivalent to seeing everything else he can see.
Maki contemplates what sets them apart from one another.
The chapter is concluded by Miyo casting a basic domain that resembles a sumo wrestling ring.
